This notice explains what personal information Santune collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Santune is the trading name of [Full legal name], based at [Address line 1], Nantwich, Cheshire, [Postcode]. For the purposes of UK data protection law, [Full legal name] is the data controller for information submitted through this website.
You can contact us about anything in this notice at team@santune.co.uk.
If you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address and — where you choose to give them — your phone number, the type of business you run, and whatever you write in the message field.
We do not collect any information about your business beyond what you choose to tell us, and we do not buy or obtain personal data about you from third parties in order to contact you through this site.
We use your details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, continue a confidential conversation about your business.
Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the contact form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your details.
We will not use your details for marketing, add you to a mailing list, or pass them to anyone else for their own purposes.
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate this website and our email — for example our website hosting and email providers — and only so far as is necessary for them to provide that service.
If a conversation progresses, we may need to share information with our professional advisers, such as a solicitor or accountant. We will tell you before we do.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, for example in response to a court order.
If your enquiry does not lead to an ongoing conversation, we delete your details within 12 months. If it does, we keep them for as long as the discussion is live and then for six years afterwards, which reflects the ordinary limitation period for contractual claims.
Beyond our data protection obligations, we treat every enquiry as commercially confidential. We will not contact your staff, customers or suppliers, or disclose that you have approached us, without your explicit consent.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you; to have inaccurate information corrected; to have your information deleted; to restrict or object to how we use it; to receive it in a portable format; and to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, email team@santune.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.
